The last time I posted on 11th November I was in the middle of a bad run and was getting frustrated. Well, that bad run is well and truly over; it lasted approximately 5,700 hands and in that time I lost a total of almost 9 buy-ins. Well since that nadir, I have played 7,000 hands and gone up almost 14 buy-ins. I have hit a bit of a flat spot at the moment but I am playing confidently and making some big lay downs which I am sure I have been right about.
My bank roll, having gone down to $276 at the nadir of the bad run, is now above $400, within $100 of reaching the target to allow me to move up to 10/25c. I am patient and realise that probably won’t happen until next year. I am aiming to go up 2 levels per year. That means in 12 months I am aiming to be close to playing 50c/$1 No limit with a bankroll of ~$2,500. Another 2 levels after that is $2/$4 when my bankroll will need to be $10,000. Well, its good to have an aim anyway.
keep it up!
Congrats on your recent burst of success, hope it continues so you can move up before the new year.
I like your idea of setting yourself a goal of moving up twice per year, I’ve had the same goal to move up for a while, but never really fixed any sort of time scale too it, I think I’ll give this a try in the new year.
Keep up the good work xxx
