That really sucks man. The Donkeys win again. It really sucks that donkeys and dumb asses seem to catch a lot but hey that’s the way it goes. All we can do is know that we got our money in the best way and it didn’t hold up.

Funny thing though, I seem to be doing better on PokerStars than FullTilt. It just seems to me that on Fulltilt the best hand doesn’t seem to hold up as much. Maybe it’s me but that’s how I feel.

I hope that your luck will change very soon. Until then keep up the good grind.

Yikes! hope you’ve added villain to your buddy list.

I think getting a little hot after such a hand is understandable and it was a very disciplined move to take a break immediately to recompose yourself.

I learned a similar lesson a long time ago – You need to sometimes protect your hand by pushing a lot, if not all, of your chips into the middle. In hand 2 this should have been done on the Turn – Give the other guy a tough decision to make – There is OBV a flush out there and he only has bottom set there are a lot of hands beating him here. In hand 1, a big bet should have happened on the flop.

Another aspect that doesn’t help here are the stakes you are playing. I would play higher stakes if I were you

Best of luck for October. Seeing your and Brooklyn’s end of month reviews as siring my interest in doing something similar.

I played a little shorthanded recently and totally sucked, as I alwasy do. My problem is the opposite to you, are get carried away with hands like AT-AQ, KJ, KQ, etc. Ironically though I alwasy play short handed live amongst friends and do rather well.
