Thanks Lucky Str8s. Yes 1c/2c does play very differently. I played around there the other day when I was fiddling with my Pokertracker HUD and it seems very fishy. Just picking tables; they all seemed to be tables with a %play on flop of > 40%.

Brooklyn B...I play in 6 Max games solely. Your point is taken and I am working on that.

Incidentally, my first session in July was no different. 3 buy-in loss. KK hits third K on turn and gets sucked out on river when a gutshot makes it. It seems to be never ending. But I push on!

Hi Blindtilt,

Just curious. Are these stats based on full or short games?

You numbers should be higher in short ring games (#'s such as attempt to steal, and you aggression #s for example).

Otherwise this is a great post to read.

Keep up the good grind!

Nice post sir!

I'm determined to invest in poker tracker now to help with my own self analysis, its just a matter of when. My game from 1c/2c has changed radically now that I'm at 2c/5c and there is still lots to do.

I think you make a great point about your Exit Game theory. Some times I can look at great tables with 2, 3 or sometimes more people in the waiting list and end up declining to join myself as I know the game will be totally different by the time I take a seat.

Hope you have a better run of things in July xxx
