If he was playing .50/1 then maybe he could do it.

Over the last 50,000 hands he is actually down! That is a decent sample size.. either it is the ugly side of variance, or the long hours are taking the toll. I suspect the latter, and it is only day 5. What I think is foolish is that in addition to 24 tabling, he is also monitoring and posting in the chat forum on justin.tv.

I announce now that there is no way in the world he is going to win $9000 over the next 25 days!

The fact he’s not mental is a tribute to him! I’ve 12 tabled for 3 hours before and wanted to guge my eyes out by the end of it!

What nobody has mentioed is although this challenge is amazing, he is going to effectively take $10k out of circulation at the mico-stakes which is a lot of money to us fish!

I was, my last 2 sessions have ended with a 2 outer, and my beautiful BB/100 has nose dived.

Just doing my best to play my part and get as many hands in as I can. Its hard to keep up with the long sessions during times like these though.

I agree, story’s like these are certainly helping me pull my finger out and get the hands in so I can move up.

I’ve gradually been increasing my win-rate and my peak came close to 10, at around 9.89 before my last session where I dropped back down into 7’s. I maintained it for maybe 1.5 or 2k hands.

I’ve been working on my game quite a lot recently, and have started 6 tabling just before hitting the 9 range for my BB/100. My focus is always to try and keep my win rate above 7 – 7.5 and I’ve been working hard to get it above 10, where I hope to maintain it.

It only takes one session with a lack of focus or concentration for your win-rate to be severally affected though, as my last session shows. I went from around 9.79 to 7.68 in around 300 hands.

He is 24 tabling on pokerstars for 16 hours a day.

He reckons he might be able to play 700,000 hands over the month. If he can, he will win his bet easily.

Just hope that he doesn’t drop dead at the end of it. Sitting for 16 hours a day for 31 days drinking highly caffeinated drinks all day is not healthy!!

BTW: Are you maintaining 9bb/100 hands?

How many tables is he playing?, I’m struggling to get 1k hands in per day, would love to get 18k hands in at my current win rate
